NSA Ajit Doval Meets Russian Counterpart in Moscow, Gets Support on India's Kashmir Policy

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Wednesday met his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow. The meeting comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Vladivostok in Russia for the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

New Delhi, August 21: In a bid to win international support after the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Wednesday met his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow. The meeting comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Vladivostok in Russia for the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). Reports said that Moscow has supported New Delhi's move on Jammu and Kashmir. “Both sides reaffirmed their intention to intensify counter terrorism cooperation.
