In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Kalvakuntla Kavitha won from the seat with 4,39,307 votes. He was followed by in second and third by Indian National Congress leader Madhu Yaskhi Goud and Bharatiya Janata party's Endala Lakshminarayana.
Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Polls will take place across the country between April 11 and May 23. While polling will take place in seven periods between April 11 and May 19, the Lok Sabha election results will be announced on May 23.
In the recently concluded 2018 assembly election, the TRS retained power with a huge victory. The party won 88 seats out of 119, whereas, the Congress-TDP alliance bagged 21 seats.
