Patna, June 8: Two days after political strategist Prashant Kishor signed up to work officially with Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar stated that Kishor's decision is personal and nothing to do with the party.
Addressing a press conference in Patna, the Janata Dal-United supremo said, as quoted by ANI, "He'll tell about it himself tomorrow at National Executive meeting. He joined our party last year; he is associated with election strategy organization too&whomsoever he works for under it has nothing to do with our party." Earlier on Wednesday, Kishor confirmed to have signed a deal with Banerjee, where he will work with Didi and help them in the upcoming Assembly elections 2021. The latest development comes amid the tiff between TMC and BJP in state post-Lok Sabha polls' results.
It is to be known that Kishor is the same person who had worked with Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh in recent Assembly elections and as a result, YSRCP formed a government in the state. Also, he had helped Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal-United in Bihar and led successful campaigns of Narendra Modi in 2014
