Mumbai, December 25: Maharashtra Minister Nitin Raut on Wednesday raised the issue of sugarcane labourers from Beed and Osmanabad districts who have undergone uterus removal surgery to avoid few days' wage loss. The minister stated that he had raises the issue with the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and looking forward for solution.

Speaking on the issue, Raut said, as quoted by news agency ANI, "Thousands of women sugarcane labourers from Beed and Osmanabad have undergone uterus removal surgery. It's saddening as they did so to avoid few days' wage loss. I've requested CM to address their grievances. Govt will certainly find solution to it." Earlier reports arrive that Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government had postponed the expansion of his state cabinet to December 30, following the delay the Congress in deciding names for ministerial berths. According to Sena mouthpiece -- Saamana -- Thackeray-led state Cabinet would take place on December 30 at 1 pm in Mumbai.
