Nirmala Sitharaman is Like 'Kala Nagini', The Worst Finance Minister: TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee

Kolkata, July 5: Trinamool Congress (TMC) lawmaker Kalyan Banerjee on Saturday equated Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman with a female snake. Likening her with a "Kala Nagini" (venomous snake), Kalyan Banerjee called Nirmala Sitharaman the worst Finance Minister. The TMC MP made the remarks while addressing a gathering in West Bengal's Bankura, adding that Sitharaman should step down. West Bengal Could Not Be Made Beneficiary of Migrants' Job Scheme as TMC Govt Didn't Give Data: Sitharaman.

"The way people die due to biting of Kala Nagini (venomous snake), same way, people are dying due to Nirmala Sitharaman. She has destroyed the economy. She should be ashamed and resign from her post. She is the worst Finance Minister," Banerjee said. The TMC leader further said that Sithraman should step down and go in quarantine. TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee Equates Nirmala Sitharaman With Snake:

"Narendra Modi came to West Bengal before 2019 and made big promises. He promised to build a better India. Yes, he has kept his promise. GDP growth fell below 1 percent. Hail Narendra Modi and his Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman," Banerjee said. Reacting to his remarks, Rahul Sinha, former chief of West Bengal BJP, said the party has filed an FIR against Banerjee.
