"The productivity of the outgoing 16th Lok Sabha, where the government enjoys a big majority, was 85 per cent," Modi said while addressing the National Youth Parliament Festival 2019.

He also gave away the National Youth Parliament Festival Awards which was inaugurated in January by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.  More than 50,000 youth participated in the festival.

Crediting the development in the country to the full majority voters gave to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 general elections, the Prime Minister said the Lower House has passed 205 bills.

He also noted that the youth play a pivotal role in building the mindset of a society and the government is making efforts to arouse confidence in them.

"If we can create an environment where the youth take up the responsibility of addressing the relevant social issues and come up with a solution, then they can play a pivotal role in shaping the mindset of the society," Modi said.

The Prime Minister said the youth nowadays are multi-taskers and are capable of doing so many things together.
