New Delhi, May 24: With the massive electoral win, Narendra Modi is all set to take oath as the Prime Minister of India for the second time on May 30, reports said. If reports are to be believed, the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place in the evening around 4-5 PM. On Thursday, the BJP witnessed a stunning electoral show as the party saw a historic victory in the Lok Sabha battle by setting to win more than the majority mark. The saffron storm swept the almost all the northern states including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and others except for Punjab. PM Narendra Modi Removes 'Chowkidar' From His Twitter Handle, Says 'Keep Spirit Alive'.

The BJP-led NDA is poised to cross the 300-mark of the 542 Lok Sabha seats where polling took place in a seven-phase election from April 11 to May 19.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, while addressing BJP workers at party headquarters in Delhi,  sought to brush aside the bitterness of the poll campaign. He said, "who said what during the campaign is past for me", and that "we have to look to the future."

Meanwhile,  BJP President Amit Shah dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world's "most popular" leader and credited him for party's spectacular victory in Lok Sabha polls. After most numbers were out, the BJP headquarters wore a festive look with slogans of "Modi once again", "Har Har Modi", "Vande Mataram" and "Modi, Modi" filling the air as the jubilant party workers danced and distributed sweets to mark the occasion.

In 2014, the BJP had achieved majority of 282 of the 543 LOk Sabha seats (NDA 336) for which elections riding on the Modi wave.  Narendra Modi was sworn in as India's 14th Prime Minister on May 26. The NDA-BJP is set to replicate the effort in 2019 and Narendra Modi is al set to be sworn in for a second term.
