Mayurganj, January 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took a dig at the Congress during a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for four- laning of various national highway projects, in Odisha’s Baripada. PM Modi raked up the AgustaWestland scam case which took place during the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. Speaking at the event, the Prime minister alleged the Congress of serving middleman Christian Michel instead of the nation. PM Modi also took a swipe at the grand old party for questioning him for starting his address with ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’. The Prime Minister today inaugurated various development projects worth Rs 4,500 in Mayurganj district of Odisha including laying the foundation stone for four laning of three national highways in Baripada area of the district. PM Modi is visiting the district for the first time. He also dedicated Balasore-Haldia-Durgapur IOCL LPG pipeline at Baripada to the nation. On Friday, PM Modi addressed two rallies at Imphal and Guwahati as part of the BJP’s outreach programme in the northeast.
