New Delhi, April 24: With the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 underway, special interviews with the politicians are becoming the normal course of the day. In the latest, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen having a candid conversation with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Wednesday. During the entire conversation, he shared his experiences of his life and struggles he faced since childhood.

Asked about whether he ever wanted to become Prime Minister, Narendra Modi stated, "Never. In childhood, never thought going out of my village. On a personal note, this journey looks unnatural. When asked about his willingness to stay with his mother, PM Modi said, "I left home at a very young age, so got detached from the family. Now it's my life and I'm too busy with my schedule."

With reports of being termed as a strict administrator, the Premier said, "This image is not right. I never pressurise people. I work hard and this inspires people. I develop a work culture and due to this, people get inspired to work accordingly. I have brought discipline in life and it brings effect."

Sharing his experience with relationships with opposition leaders, PM Modi stated that even Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mamata Banerjee have good relations with them. He said, "Even today Mamata Banerjee gifts 2-3 cotton kurtas to me. She also sends Bengali sweets to me during festivals."

Explaining about his post-retirement plans, PM Modi said, "I never thought about this. Responsibility is my life. I never think to plan anything to do something, as my training taught me in the last 20-30 years."

Among other things, he discussed his sleep habits, fashion quotient, oratory skills, medication and his experience with social media.
