Kevadiya, September 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is celebrating his 69th birthday today, visited the Jungle Safari Tourist Park in Kevadiya in Gujarat's Narmada district. PM Narendra Modi also visited the 'Statue of Unity' this morning and shared a video of the sculpture, touted as the tallest in the world. For the first time since the height of the dam was raised in 2017, the water level reached its highest peak at 138.68 metres on Sunday evening. PM Modi arrived in Gujarat, his home state, last night. He flew from Gandhinagar to Kevadia in Narmada district this morning. The Prime Minister will visit the Duttatreya Mandir in Garudeshwar village and a children's park. Later, he will also address a public meeting at Kevadiya. He celebrated his last birthday by spending time with school children from Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

In Varanasi, people lightened earthen lamps to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 69th birthday. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating PM Modi's birthday as 'Seva Saptah' starting September 14.
