New Delhi, January 8: Sending a message to BJP cadres and supporters, the party's youth face and Lok Sabha MP Anurag Thakur wore a 'Namo Again' hoodie to the Parliament on Tuesday. Taking note of his fashion statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Thakur on Twitter.
"Looking good, @ianuragthakur! (sic)," Modi said on the microblogging site, while sharing the image of Thakur wearing the NaMo merchandise hoodie. PM Modi Interacts With 'Humans of Bombay', Shares His Childhood Journey to Becoming a Politician.
With Thakur wearing the specially designed hoodie to the Lok Sabha, and the Prime Minister lauding him for the same on social media, an indication is being sent out that 'NaMo Again' could be the BJP's slogan moving into the general elections in April-May this year.

The term 'NaMo' was first used by the BJP in 2013 -- when Narendra Modi was projected as the prime ministerial candidate. The party had then claimed that a 'NaMo wave' is sweeping across the nation, and would uproot the then incumbent Congress-led government.
With less than 100 days remaining for the next polls, the party is likely to use the 'NaMo Again' slogan to recreate an euphoria surrounding the Prime Minister.
Here's how ANI editor Smita Prakash, who interviewed Modi last week, took note of Thakur's style statement:

The 'NaMo Again' hoodie by the Hamirpur lawmaker also comes in the backdrop of Congress supporters promoting the burberry jackets worn by Rahul Gandhi.
With polls round the corner, most political parties are expected to use merchandise for boosting their popularity among the youth.
