Nagaur: Nagaur area falls under Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. BJP's Habibur Rahman Ashrafi Lamba won the seat in the 2013 assembly elections. This time, This time, Mohan Ram Choudhary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Habibur Rehman Ashrafi Lamba of Indian National Congress (INC) and Bajrang Ram of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are the leading candidates in fray for the contest on the seat.
Khinvsar: Khinwsar falls under Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. Independent candidate Hanuman Beniwal won the seat in the 2013 assembly elections. The contest on the seat is excepted to be between the Congress, BJP and independent candidates.
Merta: Merta falls under Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. BJP's Sukharam BJP won the seat in the 2013 assembly elections. This time, Bhanwara Ram of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sonu Chitara of Indian National Congress (INC) and Tara Chand of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are the leading candidates in fray for the contest on the seat.
Degana: Degana falls under Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. BJP's Ajay Singh won the seat in the 2013 assembly elections.
Makrana: Makrana falls under Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. BJP's Shreeram Bhinchar won the seat in the 2013 assembly elections.
Parbatsar: Parbatsar falls under Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. BJP's Mansingh Kinsariya won the seat in the 2013 assembly elections.
In the single-phase elections held on Friday, Rajasthan recorded a voter turnout of 74.21 per cent -- marginally below 74.38 per cent recorded in 2013. Post-poll surveys had predicted a full majority win for the Congress.
