The House in Nagaland, which comprises of 60 seats, is all set to get dissolved on March 13. However, the polling took on 59 seats in this Assembly Election. The state of Nagaland saw 75% of the electorate turnout to vote on polling day. The previous Assembly Elections in 2013 saw NPF coming out as a clear winner. The NPF won the majority by winning 38 seats, whereas both, INC and Independent candidates won 8 seats. National Congress Party (NCP) were able to win 4 seats, whereas BJP and Janata Dal-United (JDU) won only 1 seat apiece. The results for the 2018 Nagaland Assembly Elections are going to be out soon, and it will be interesting to see, which party wins in Wokha.
