Nagaland Assembly Elections Results 2018: Full List of Constituency Wise Winning Candidates

On the polling day, 75% voter turnout was recorded in the Nagaland Assembly elections, the Election Commission said. A total of 11,76,432 voters which include 5,97,281 men, 5,79,151 women and 5,884 service voters were eligible to exercise their franchise in the Nagaland elections.

Kohima, March 3: The result of Nagaland Legislative Assembly election 2018 will be out today to decide the fate of 195 candidates in Nagaland. The polling was held on 27 February 2018 in 59 out of 60 constituencies. Currently, Nagaland is under the leadership of Chief Minister TR Zeliang, who belongs to the Naga People's Front.  It must be noted that the tenure of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly ends on  March 13, 2018.

On the polling day, 75% voter turnout was recorded in the Nagaland Assembly elections, the Election Commission said. To recall, the voting, which began at 7 am, witnessed clashes and a bomb explosion at two places, however, the polling process was not disturbed.Abhijit Sinha, the Nagaland chief electoral officer had earlier mentioned that the final rolls published has 11, 89,264 voters which is lower than the electorate size of 11,92,377 enumerated in 2013. A total of 11,76,432 voters—5,97,281 men, 5,79,151 women and 5,884 service voters—are eligible to exercise their franchise in the Nagaland elections.
