Mumbai, October 22: A clash broke out between the president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) students' wing and other local party leaders during a meeting on Monday. According to a report by Times Now, the brawl between the leaders took place in Mumbai and then two groups almost got into a fistfight during the argument.

Earlier this month, Pawar called a meeting of senior leaders of the party's Maharashtra unit to discuss candidates for the next year's Lok Sabha elections. Also, Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Pawar held discussions in the national capital about a seat-sharing arrangement in Maharashtra for the next year's Lok Sabha elections.
According to a PTI report, the NCP proposed a 50:50 seat-sharing arrangement in the state, Mr Malik said, adding that both the parties want to finalise it at the earliest.
