The Janata Dal United (JDU) has fielded Manoj Kumar from the Minapur Assembly Constituency, while sitting MLA Rajeev Kumar is contesting on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) ticket. The Bihar Assembly elections 2020 is the first major polling exercise since the outbreak of COVID-19 in India.
