PM Modi's mega video conference, amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, received condemnation from opposition parties. "Right now, we are faced with a crisis. We want the pilot back. We want to know how is he. Everybody is worried about him. And you are worried about addressing some booth workers?" Congress spokesperson told a news channel. Muslim Man in UP Does a Sholay! Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh also took a dig at the BJP and PM Modi for his mega video conference. "Entire Opposition is concerned over national security. (Chief Minister) Arvind Kejriwal postponed his hunger strike over full-statehood issue. Congress cancelled its CWC and the Opposition is worrying about unity of the nation. Modi-ji is getting down to strengthen polling booths and the BJP is busy with election rallies (sic)," Singh tweeted on Wednesday.
CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury alleged that BJP leaders were going about their day as usual even amidst the prevailing security scenario. "BJP leaders have been doing election rallies, (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi has been attending party events, when CRPF jawans were martyred or when Pakistani jets were being taken on by our brave pilots," the Left leader said.
