Panaji, October 15: In the wake of the ailing health of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Goa BJP president Vijay Tendulkar on Monday said that the Chief Minister is better now and the rumours that are being spread that CM will resign from his post are false. Parrikar's health has improved, and doctors have advised him to rest for a week, the CMO’s office informed on Monday. "Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar's condition has improved further. He had a chat with his family members this morning," Rupesh Kamat, personal secretary to the chief minister, said in a statement. "Doctors have advised him to take rest for a week," he added. According to a report by PTI, after landing in Goa, the Chief Minister was taken to his private residence at Dona Paula, where a team of doctors from the state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) have put up a makeshift medical facility. The Goa CM, who has been ailing since mid-February, has been treated at different hospitals, including those in Goa, Mumbai and the US.
