New Delhi, March 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday condoled the death of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. In a series of tweets, PM Modi called Parrikar "a true patriot and exceptional administrator". The Prime Minister also highlighted Parrikar's career as Goa CM as well as the Defence Minister of India. Parrikar breathed his last on Sunday at his residence in Goa. The late Goa CM, at 63, was suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer. As per reports, Parrikar's condition had deteriorated on Saturday evening, after which the doctors could not make him recover.
