Manohar Parrikar Health Update: Goa CM Back From US After 3 Months, Reaches Panaji

Panaji, June 14: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday reached Panaji after his three-month-long stay in the US, where he was undergoing a treatment for his pancreatic ailment. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has informed that Parrikar will hold the state cabinet meeting tomorrow. "Sena is happy that chief minister has decided to hold a cabinet meeting tomorrow without wasting any time and take stock of the situation in the state," Sena's Goa spokesperson Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik said.
After being diagnosed with the pancreatic ailment, Parrikar was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 15 and was discharged on February 22. The Chief Minister on the same day had presented the Budget in the Assembly, but the session was truncated to only four days owing to his illness.
On February 25, Parrikar was admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital after he complained of dehydration and was discharged four days later. On March 5, Parrikar was in Mumbai again for his further check up from where he was referred to the USA.
