New Delhi, June 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme today. This will be the first episode of 'Mann ki Baat' after Narendra Modi assumed office for the second time following BJP’s historic victory in Lok Sabha elections. The ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme will be aired at 11 am on All India Radio (AIR). People can also listen to it on the ‘Narendra Modi App’ or pmindia.gov.in.

The final episode of the last season’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was aired on February 24. The radio programme was later discontinued during the Lok Sabha elections. In today’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode, PM Modi expected to express his gratitude for the resounding mandate that the BJP has got. Ahead of today's 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Narendra Modi tweeted: "After four long months, #MannKiBaat is back to do what it has always loved- celebrate the power of positivity and the strengths of 130 crore Indians! Do tune in at 11 AM tomorrow morning!" In order to ensure that more and more people listen to Prime Minister Modi's monthly radio programme, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made special arrangements.

The party cadres at all levels have been directed to ensure better facilities like big screens and better radio sets so that more people get attracted to the programme. Many BJP leaders have also planned to listen to 'Mann Ki Baat' programme by sitting with the people and party workers.

In his first term, 2014-2019, the Prime Minister had addressed the nation on as many as 53 occasions through his radio programme. The first episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' was broadcast on the occasion of Vijayadashami on in October 2014. In his last 'Mann Ki Baat' address, PM Modi had expressed confidence of the BJP-led NDA’s victory in the Lok Sabha elections and said that the programme will return after the polls.
