Mandsour, Malhargarh, Suwasra, Garoth, Manasa, Neemuch, Jawad Elections Results Live News Updates: Who Won These MLA Seats in MP Assembly Polls 2018?

Bhopal, December 11: The counting of votes for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2018 began at 8 am today and the final results are expected to be out by late afternoon. We are bringing you Live updates on the results for seven MP Vidhan Sabha constituencies - Mandsour, Malhargarh, Suwasra, Garoth, Manasa, Neemuch, Jawad. It looks like a close contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress as the exit polls have not been able to clearly predict as to which party will win MP. While some exit polls have given the BJP an upper hand, others have given the Congress an upper hand. Voting for the MP Assembly polls was held on November 28 in a single phase. Mandsour Assembly Seat

The Mandsour seat in MP has been with the BJP since 2003. Yashpal Singh of the BJP won this seat twice in 2008 and 2013. He has been fielded by the party again this election, against Narendra Nahata of the Congress and Advocate Ishwar Makwana of the BSP among other candidates.

Malhargarh (SC) Assembly Seat

The Malhargarh (SC) seat has been a stronghold of Jagdish Dewda of the BJP since 2008. The party has fielded him this election as well, against Parshuram Sisodiya of the Congress and Keshar Bai Sunarthi of the BSP among other candidates.

Suwasra Assembly Seat

The Suwasra seat was won by Hardeep Singh of the Congress in 2013. Singh has been fielded this election, too, by the Congress, against BJP's Radheshyam Patidar, who had won the 2008 election on this seat. The BSP has fielded Shyamu Bai.

Garoth Assembly Seat

The Garoth seat was won by Rajesh Yadav of the BJP in 2013. The party has this election fielded Advocate Devilal Dhakad, who is pitted against Subhash Kumar Sojatia of the Congress. Sojatia has won the seat four times in the past (1985, 1993, 1998 and 2008).

Manasa Assembly Seat

The Manasa seat was won by Kailash Chawla of the BJP in 2013. The party has this year fielded Anirudha Madhav Maroo against Umrao Singh Shivlal of the Congress and Karulal of the BSP.

Neemuch Assembly Seat

The Neemuch seat was won by Dilip Singh Parihar of the BJP in 2013. Parihar, who also won the seat in 2003, has been fielded this election, too, against Satya Narayan of the Congress and Naveen Kumar Agrawal of the AAP among other candidates.

Jawad Assembly Seat

The Jawad seat has been with Om Prakash Sakhlecha of the BJP since 2003. Sakhlecha has been fielded by the party this election as well, against Rajkumar Rameshchandra Ahir of the Congress and Balchand Verma of the BSP.
