New Delhi, March 31: In a special "Mai Bhi Chowkidar" interaction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address supporters of his chowkidar campaign from across the 500 parliamentary constituencies of the nation. The PM, while speaking from the Talkatora Stadium in the national capital, will also take questions and inputs from the gathering, as well as his supporters who will join through video-conferencing.
With the nation fully in the grip of the Lok Sabha election campaign, all political parties are leaving no stone unturned to convince voters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at 5 pm today as part of the party's 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' campaign. The programme will be live telecast on NaMo TV channel which is available on Tata Sky, Airtel TV, Videocon D2H and Dish TV.
BJP President Amit Shah will address two public rallies in Uttar Pradesh. The rallies will be held in Dhampur and Baghpat. All these events will be live streamed on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts of the BJP. Shah, one of the star campaigners of the BJP, filed his nomination papers from the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat yesterday. He was accompanied by union ministers Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi will address two election rallies in Andhra Pradesh and one in Karnataka. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to first address a rally at a stadium in Vijayawada and then move to address another rally at Mudigal Bypass Road Ground in Kalyandurg. After addressing gatherings in Andhra Pradesh, the Congress Chief will take a flight for Bengaluru to address another rally at Nelamangala in Karnataka.
The election to 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly is scheduled to be held on April 11 simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls. The counting of votes will take place on May 23. Polls in Karnataka for 28 Lok Sabha seats will take place in two phases on April 18 and 23. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.
