Mumbai, October 18: In a major embarrassment for Nationalist Congress Party Lok Sabha parliamentarian from Baramati Supriya Sule, the Election Commission’s flying squad carried out a sudden check on her helicopter at the Mahalaxmi Race Course helipad on Friday. Due to the sudden check by the ECI, she had to wait for some time until the inspection was over.
According to the details, the Baramati MP was stopped by the Election Commission's flying squad just before she was about to take the chopper to address an electoral rally. Though Sule flew off in the same helicopter after the officers were done with the inspection. ECI Replaces Expenditure Observers of Ambala and Nashik Ahead of Assembly Elections in Haryana and Maharashtra.

It is to be known that Election Commission has seized Rs 78,70,000 unaccounted cash in Colaba Assembly Constituency. On Friday, Rs 2.19 Crores were seized from five persons in the same constituency. The voting for 288 seats would take place on Monday, and the results would be announced on Thursday, along with Haryana Elections.
