Mumbai, November 1: Amid the open-ended war between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Shiv Sena over the Chief Minister's post, the parties continue to poke each other through cartoons. After Uddhav Thackeray party's reiterated demand of a Shiv Sena CM, the Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga shared a cartoon and took a jibe at Sena. Tajinder Bagga shared a cartoon on his Twitter handle featuring a tiger, Shiv Sena's identity, and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. In the post, Fadnavis, holding a ring, tells the angry tiger, "Aakhir tumhe aana hai, zara der lagegi (It may take a while but you have to come)." This development comes after Shiv Sena hardened its stance for 50-50 formula for state government formation with BJP. Senior Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who on Thursday met NCP chief Sharad Pawar, said his party can achieve required numbers to form the government.

Earlier, after the state assembly election results were announced, Raut shared a cartoon of a Tiger wearing a clock locket, NCP symbol, and sniffing Lotus, BJP symbol.

In response, Tajinder Bagga shared a cartoon showing Fadnavis sitting on a thrown while Uddhav Thackeray shouts, "call me elder brother". Similarly, NCP spokesperson Clyde Crasto posted a cartoon in which Shiv Sena's Bow and Arrow symbol appeared hanging overhead and pointing towards a lotus.
