Mumbai, November 24: After Ajit Pawar's tweet, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar on Sunday said that there is no possibility of forming an alliance government with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that Ajit Pawar's statement is misleading in order to create confusion among the people. "There is no question of forming an alliance with BJP. NCP has unanimously decided to ally with Shiv Sena and Congress to form the government. This development comes after Ajit Pawar praised Sharad Pawar as "Saheb". Ajit Pawar, who was removed as NCP Legislature Party leader, said he has not left the party.

"I am in the NCP and shall always be in the NCP and Sharad Pawar Saheb is our leader. Our BJP-NCP alliance shall provide a stable government in Maharashtra for the next five years which will work sincerely for the welfare of the state and its people," Ajit Pawar tweeted.

Reacting to Ajit Pawar's tweet, senior NCP leader Jayant Patil requested him to come back. "You are a founding member of the Nationalist Congress Party. We have all grown up in the shadow of Sharad Pawar. However, for the sake of the state, saheb has decided not to go with the BJP. Respecting Sharad Pawar's decision return back to the party," he tweeted.
