Mumbai, October 23: With just hours remaining for the Election Commission to begin the counting of votes for the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party workers have started preparing sweets at the party office in Mumbai. The preparation ladoos are underway at the state headquarters of the BJP, which is expecting a massive win in the recently concluded polls.

According to news agency ANI, the party workers are preparing sweets at the office in Mumbai, under the leadership of senior BJP leaders of the state. As per the exit poll survey, most of the research agencies have predicted a clean sweep for the BJP-Shiv alliance in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, an aggregate of various exit polls gave the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance 211 of the state's 288 seats and the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) just 64 constituencies.
