The results of the Mahabubabad Lok Sabha Constituency will be declared today. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in Telangana at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. Voting took place for the Mahabubabad seat in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 11. A total voter turnout of 62.69  per cent was recorded, as per Election Commission of India. The political parties have declared candidates for this Lok Sabha constituency. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi is fielding Maloth Kavitha, previously a Congress MLA, from the seat. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Azmeera Seetaram Naik of Telangana Rashtra Samithi won from the seat with 3,20,569 votes. He was followed in second position by Indian National Congress Party candidate P. Balram.

Lok Sabha polls 2019 will take place crosswise the country between April 11, 2019, and May 23, 2019. While polling will take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the national election results will be announced on May 23.
