Imarti Devi

Imarti Devi will enter the electoral fray from Darba constituency on a BJP ticket. A strong Dalit leader, Imarti Devi served as Minister of Women and Child Development in the Madhya Pradesh Government, first in Kamal Nath's Congress government from December 2018 to March 2020 and later under Shivraj Chauhan's BJP government from July 2020 to November 2020.

Hirendra Singh

Hirendra Singh has been given a ticket from the Raghogarh seat. A Scindia loyalist, Singh switched boats in 2020. It must be noted that Raghogarh's seat is a stronghold of former MP CM Digvijay Singh. Currently, Singh's son Jaivardhan is an MLA from the Raghogarh constituency in the Guna district.

Lalita Yadav

The BJP has given a ticket to a former minister, Lalita Yadav, from Chhatarpur. The party has kept faith in Yadav despite her electoral defeat in 2018 to Alok Chaturvedi of Congress.

Shailendra Jain

Shailendra Jain has been a BJP MLA since 2009, representing Sagar in Madhya Pradesh. The party has shown trust in him again for upcoming polls.

The 2018 assembly elections saw the Congress securing 114 seats, narrowly surpassing the BJP's tally of 109. However, the Congress government's tenure was cut short as some MLAs crossed over to the BJP. Consequently, the BJP returned to power in March 2020, with Shivraj Singh Chouhan taking office as Chief Minister for a renewed term. As the electoral arena heats up, all eyes are now on the impending contest in Madhya Pradesh.
