Madhepura Lok Sabha Constituency Election Results 2019 in Bihar: Dinesh Chandra Yadav of JD(U) Wins This Seat

Madhepura is one of the 40 Lok Sabha constituencies of Bihar. The voting for the parliamentary polls 2019 on this seat will take place in the third phase on April 23.

Election Commission of India has declare the final results of Madhepura constituency in Bihar, along with other Lok Sabha seats. Dinesh Chandra Yadav of the Janata Dal (United) has won the seat. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partner Janata Dal-United (JDU) has fielded Dinesh Chandra Yadav from Madhepura Lok Sabha constituency. Meanwhile, the Mahagathbandhan's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has given a ticket to Sharad Yadav from here. The last date of filing nominations for the seat is April 4. The scrutiny of nominations papers will take place on April 5. In 2014 elections also, RJD candidate Pappu Yadav had won from  Madhepura Lok Sabha Constituency defeating Sharad Yadav who had contested on the JDU ticket that time with a margin of 50,000 votes. Meanwhile, in 2009 elections, JDU candidate Sharad Yadav had bagged the seat.

The Election Commission of India on March 10 announced the dates for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The general elections will take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, and the results will be declared on May 23. Along with Lok Sabha Elections, voting will also take place in this phase for Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Odisha Assembly Elections 2019.
