Mumbai, April 29: Phase 4 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 are underway across nine states and 72 states in India and various candidates who are fighting the elections have cast their vote from their respective polling booth. The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is taking place in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The counting of votes will take place on May 23 and the results are expected on the same day. The Model Code of Conduct has immediately come into force after the announcement of the polling dates.
The polling per cent recorded in the first phase for 91 seats was 69.43 per cent. In the second round of the polls for 95 seats, a total voter turnout of 67.84 per cent was recorded and for the third phase, where 117 seats were in fray, polling per cent was 66 per cent.
