Lok Sabha Elections 2019: PM Narendra Modi to Face 'Dead' Candidate in Varanasi Constituency
Lal Bihari has been struggling and fighting against living people being named as dead in official documents. He said that his fight is against the corruption in government offices, where living people are named under 'dead' category for benefits and bribes.
Varanasi, January 19: An organisation named Mritak Sangh, which literally means 'Organisation of the Dead', has announced that a murda (dead person) will contest on Varanasi seat against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Lal Bihari 'Mritak' announced that he will contest on the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat against PM Modi. However, the government documents has declared him dead. The national president of the Mritak Sangh, Lal Bihari 'Mritak', has also announced that they will announce the candidature of a 'dead person' on every seat from which national presidents or prominent faces of political parties will contest elections on. Lal Bihari is from UP's Azamgarh district and has been struggling and fighting against living people being named as dead in official documents. He has been protesting against the government malpractice for close to four decades now. Lal Bihari said that he is planning to announce candidates against prominent political faces because he wants to turn the attention of people to this cause. He also said that dead candidates will fight elections against Mayawati as well as Akhilesh Yadav.
