Ayodhya, May 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday made a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance and said that they are worried about Bharatiya Janata Party's popularity among the masses. The PM also accused Akhilesh Yadav's SP and Mayawati-led BSP of using BR Ambedkar and Ram Manohar Lohia’s name for just political gains. “Be it SP, BSP or Congress, it's necessary to know their reality. Behen Ji (Mayawati) used the name of Babasaheb Ambedkar but she did everything just the opposite of his principles. SP used the name of Lohia Ji but they destroyed the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh,” Modi said.

PM Narendra Modi continued to target the opposition on tackling terrorism and asserted that the right government at the centre can fight terror. He said that the terror outfits across the borders are hoping for a weak government. “From our neighbourhood, all they do is export terror and terrorism. It is important for a government that can tackle terrorism to come to power,” said PM Modi.

Meanwhile, Opposition leaders are involved in a war of words with PM Modi. Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had demanded a 72 hours ban for PM Modi's speech where he claimed that 40 Trinamool Congress lawmakers are in contact with him.
