New Delhi, May 18: Polling for the seventh and final phase of voting in the Lok Sabha Election 2019 is set to take place on Sunday, May 19. A total of 59 constituencies across seven states and one Union Territory (UT) will go to polls on Sunday. Voting is set to begin at 7 AM and conclude at 6 PM on the same day in most states except in Jharkhand and parts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, where voting will end early at 4 pm. On Sunday, all parliamentary constituencies in Bihar (8), Jharkhand (3), Madhya Pradesh (8), Punjab (13), West Bengal (9), Chandigarh (1), Uttar Pradesh (13) and Himachal Pradesh (4) will go for polling in the final phase. Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Schedule: Voting In 7 Phases From April 11 to May 19, Counting And Results On May 23; Check All Dates For General Elections.

According to reports, over 10.1 crore voters will decide the fate of 918 candidates including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Voters will cast their ballot at over 1.12 lakh polling stations. The Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking to be re-elected, is one of the key seats that will vote in Phase 7.

The campaigning for the seventh phase and last phase of Lok Sabha elections ended on Friday. The campaign had already ended on Thursday in West Bengal due to orders of Election Commission and it ended in the remaining six states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh on Friday. Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Campaigning for Seventh Phase of Polling Ends.

In Bihar, as many as four Union ministers are among the 157 candidates in Bihar whose electoral fortunes will be decided on Sunday. According to figures made available by the Election Commission,  about 1.52 crore voters will exercise their franchise in the eight Lok Sabha constituencies - Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Karakat, Sasaram, Nalanda and Jehanabad at 15,811 booths.

The main battle to watch in Bihar will be in Patna Sahib where Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, one of the most prominent members of the Modi cabinet, is contesting. The BJP has won the seat in both the elections that have taken place since it came into being after the 2008 delimitation.
