New Delhi, April 2: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday issued notifications for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 which will take place on April 29. The last date for filing of nominations is April 9, and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is April 12. In the fourth phase, 71 Lok Sabha constituencies in 9 states will go to polls. A total of 17 Lok Sabha constituencies including Bhiwandi, Dhule, Dindori, Kalyan, Maval, Mumbai North, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai-South, Mumbai South-Central are going for polls in Maharashtra. In Rajasthan, 13 constituencies are going for polls. The seats which are going for the general elections include Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwada, Kota, and Jhalawar-Baran constituencies. Out of these, the ruling BJP is yet to declare its candidates for Barmer and Rajsamand seats. Meanwhile, in Bihar, the parliamentary polls are going to be held in five constituencies. One seat in Jammu and Kashmir, three seats in Jharkhand, six seats each in Odisha and Madhya Pradesh, eight seats in West Bengal and 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh are going for the polls. Voting for the fourth phase of Odisha Assembly Elections 2019 will also take place on April 29 along with the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019. A total of 42 assembly seats are going for the polls.
