New Delhi, March 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah will hold a roadshow in Ahmedabad before filing his nomination papers from the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat. To show unity among parties of National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and former Punjab Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal patron Parkash Singh Badal will be present during Amit Shah's roadshow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Aalo, Arunachal Pradesh today. "Over the last few years, the @BJP4Arunachal Government in the state has done exceptional work in various sectors. I will request the people of the state to bless BJP in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha polls," PM Modi tweeted ahead of his rally in Aalo. The Election Commission of India has sent a second notice to Ministry of Civil Aviation seeking a reply on Madurai Airport matter where PM Narendra Modi's picture was seen on boarding passes. The Ministry has been asked to file a reply by today. On Friday, a political controversy broke out over tea on trains being served in cups on which 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' was printed. Withdrawing the cups, the Railways said that it was printed without its permission.

Meanwhile, the poll panel also sent a notice to the Ministry of Railways and asked it to file its response by today.
