New Delhi, April 7: In the run up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 slated to begin on April 11, all the political parties have been campaigning to woo voters with their poll promises. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a public rally in north Bengal's Cooch Behar on Sunday, four days after his twin rallies in the state. According to reports, the meeting will be held at the sprawling Rash Mela ground near the Cooch Behar Palace. Reports inform that West Bengal Chief Minister and one of the most vicious critics of Modi, Mamata Banerjee is also set to address a rally the next day.

This ended his decade-old association with the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). Sinha quit from the BJP on its foundation day and slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah as "one-man show, two-man army"

On Saturday, the Prime Minister, while addressing a poll rally in Maharashtra's Nanded, compared the opposition Congress to a "sinking ship" which will take down all who are on it. "Last time (in 2014), the Congress was reduced to just 44 (Lok Sabha) seats. This time the situation is even worse. It has become like the Titanic; with each passing day, it is sinking. All those who are in it are either sinking or jumping out to other parties," Modi said while addressing a rally.
