The battle for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 has picked up pace online and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress are leaving no stone unturned in reaching out to the youth, the millennials.
Mumbai, January 31: The battle for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 has picked up pace online and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress are leaving no stone unturned in reaching out to the youth, the millennials. In a fresh kick to its campaign 'Ab Ki Baar, Phir Modi Sarkaar', the ruling BJP has shared a rap music video on the social media, taking a cue from the songs of Gully Boy. The BJP rap "with a difference" is called "Saath NaMo ke hum sabko aana hai" (We all have to come together with NaMo).
The rap music video features youngsters dancing to the tunes carrying words like getting rid of corruption, creating jobs and ease of doing business. The campaign seems to be targeting first-time voters and millennials as the video gives one a youthful feel.

Sharing the video on Twitter on Wednesday, the BJP's Twitter handle wrote, "This is a rap with a difference, for a cause. Don’t hold back if you want to tap along #ModiOnceMore".
From picking up the 'How's the Josh' page from the recent film Uri: The Surgical Strike to mentioning the viral online game PUBG, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also keeping his connect with young voters at the fore of his election campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls.
On the other hand, Congress is making interactive videos and going with live chats with their leaders in which they take questions from Internet users on several issues. As April 2019 comes close, General Election battle continues to grow fierce not just on the ground, but online too.
