New Delhi, April 10: Ending the speculations of a possible alliance with Congress for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha parliamentarian stated that his party would contest in all the seven seats in Delhi.
Alleging that the Congress was not in favours an alliance, AAP MP said, "Congress is not in favour of alliance and it seems they want to benefit BJP. Briefing more information about seat-sharing talks with Congress and the reason it failed, Singh said, "In Punjab, we've 4 MPs and 20 MLAs and Congress doesn’t want to share seat there. Same situation is in Haryana, Goa and Chandigarh. In Delhi, where they don’t have any MLA or MP, they're demanding 3 seats. So, this alliance is not possible."
Earlier, there were reports that Congress is leaning towards a possible alliance with AAP in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections and due to this, differences erupted between the political leaders in the Congress.
The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 would take place in Seven Phases from April 11 to May 19. The results would be declared on May 23.
