All eyes are placed on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on whether he gets another term or he would be dislodged by the Opposition. Sunday's Exit Polls have predicted a comfortable win for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.  According to exit polls, NDA will secure over 300 seats, repeating the achievement it obtained in 2014 elections.

The opposition parties are not assuming a clear majority but they are expecting to cumulatively cross the halfway mark of 272 seats and discharge the BJP government. Meanwhile, the elections in India began on April 11, 2019, and concluded on May 19. The polls saw intense campaigning by political parties.
