In Lanji, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Ramesh Bhatere against Congress candidate Hina Likhiram Kawre. In the 2013 polls, Kawre had defeated BJP's Ramesh Dileep Bhatere and had won the Lanji seat with 79068 votes.
In Paraswada, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Ramkishore Kanware against Congress candidate Madhu Bhagat. In 2013 elections in the state, Bhagat had defeated BJP's Ram Kishor (Nano) Kaware with 49216 votes.
In Balaghat, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Gourishakar Bisen against Congress candidate Vishveshwar Bhagat. Gourishankar Chaturbhuj Bisen of the BJP had won the Balaghat seat in 2013 polls with 71993 votes, thus defeating Anubha Munjare of the Samajwadi Party (SP).
In Waraseoni, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Yogendra Nirmal while the Congress has pitted Sanjay Singh Mesani. In the last elections, BJP's Dr. Yogendra Nirmal had won the seat with 66806 votes.
In Katangi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded K.D. Deshmukh against Congress candidateTamlal Sahare. Deshmukh had won the seat in the 2013 polls with 57230 votes.
In Barghat (ST), there will be a close fight between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kamal Marskole and Congress candidate Arjun Singh Kakodiya. In 2013 elections, Kamal Marskole of BJP has defeated Congress candidate Arjun Singh with 77122 votes.
