Telangana Assembly Election 2018 results will be declared today. The counting of votes has begun and early trends will start pouring in. Constituencies including Lal Bahadur Nagar, Maheshwaram, Rajendranagar, Serilingampally, Chevella and Pargi cast votes on December 7. Telanaga went for a snap election this time as K Chandrashekar Rao-led government dissolved the assembly in September. In the state, Congress has formed a grand alliance called Maha Kootami along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister CM N Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Communist Party of India (CPI) and M Kodandaram's newly formed Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) have formed Maha Kootami (a grand alliance) against Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for the assembly elections.
