New Delhi, August 6: With the debate over the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019 tabled for discussion in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday and opposition parliamentarians attacking the Modi government, BJP MP from Ladakh - Jamyang Tsering Namgyal - slammed asking 'What will be lost with this decision?' He even claimed that 'only two families will lose while Kashmir flourishes' with the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A.
Expressing his views in the Lower House of the Parliament on the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019, Jamyang Tsering said, "What will be lost with this decision? Sirf do pariwar rozi-roti khoyenge aur Kashmir ka bhavishya ujjwal hone wala hai (Only two families will lose their bread and butter, but the future of entire residents of Kashmir will shine)". Adding more, the dynamic leader from Ladakh said, "UPA gave Kashmir a central University in 2011, Jammu fought & took a central univ. I was a Student Union leader. We demanded for a central university in Ladakh, but we didn't get any. PM Modi Ji recently gave us a university, 'Modi Hai to Mumkin Hai' (With Modi, Everything is Possible).
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauded the Ladakh MP for his speech in the Parliament.

Earlier on Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah tabled the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019 in Lok Sabha and opposition created a furore. Leaders from Samajwadi Party to Congress attacked the ruling dispensation for bifurcating the state and scrapping the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, by dividing it into two Union Territories - Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
