Dr Sanjeev Kumar of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party won from the Kurnool Lok Sabha Constituency in Andhra Pradesh. Dr Sanjeev defeated Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy of the Telugu Desam Party with a margin of 1,48,889 votes. The election here were conducted on April 11, 2019 as per the Phase 1 schedule. The last general election in the year 2014 was won by Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) candidate Butta Renuka who bagged the total of 4,72,782 votes and is also the current MP on the seat. The runner up of the election was Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate Bendula Thirumala Naidu with a total of 4,28,651 votes.
