The Lok Sabha elections 2019 results of Kishanganj parliamentary seat has been declared. Dr Mohammad Jawed of the Janata Dal (United) has been declared the winner. Notification for the second phase polls, which includes Kishanganj among 97 constituencies, was issued by the ECI on March 20. Candidates were allowed to file their nominations till March 26. From Kishanganj, the Mahagathbandhan has issued the ticket to Congress leader Mohammad Javed whereas, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has fielded Mahmood Ashraf of the JD(U).
In the 2014 general elections, the Kishanganj seat was retained by the then incumbent MP Maulana Mohammad Asrarul Haque, a leader of the Congress. Currently, the seat is vacant as Haque died on December 7, 2018.

Results of the electoral battle in Kishanganj, along with all other parliamentary constituencies in the nation, will be declared by the ECI on May 23, 2019. Bihar remains a keenly observed state by pollsters as it sends a total of 40 MPs to the Lok Sabha.
