Khammam constituency is one of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Telangana. The election here was conducted on April 11, 2019, as per the Phase 1 schedule.

The results of the Khammam Lok Sabha Constituency will be declared today. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in Telangana at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. Voting took place for the Khammam seat in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 11. A total voter turnout of 62.69  per cent was recorded, as per Election Commission of India. The political parties have declared candidates for this Lok Sabha constituency. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has fielded former MP Nama Nageswara Rao in Khammam. Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Bangaru Shruti. Former Union Minister and senior leader Renuka Chowdhary is contesting from Congress.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy of YSR Congress won from the seat with 4,21,957 votes. He was followed in second position by Telugu Desam Party candidate Nama Nageswara Rao.

Lok Sabha polls 2019 will take place crosswise the country between April 11, 2019, and May 23, 2019. While polling will take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the national election results will be announced on May 23.
