Bengaluru, July 10: Another controversy broke out when Janata Dal-Secular (JDS) lawmaker Srinivasa Gowda was spotted at Bengaluru airport on Wednesday, July 10. Keeping the suspense on, Gowda refused to respond to reporters question. This development comes after 12 MLAs of Congress-JD(S) on Saturday resigned from the party and are waiting for Karnataka speaker KR Ramesh Kumar to accept the resignation.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Gowda was questioned about where he is going but the lawmaker didn't utter a word and proceeded inside. Vijayendra is the younger son of the BS Yeddyurappa and general secretary of Karnataka BJP's youth wing. Meanwhile, Gowda, in February, had accused BJP of trying to bribe him to change the party. The year-old Congress-JDS government in Karnataka slumped into crisis after the resignation of 10 MLAs from the state Assembly. Followed by independent MLA H Nagesh who withdrew the support from the government on Monday. Suspended Congress MLA Roshan Baig also resigned from the state assembly on Tuesday.
