I became Vishkanth and swallowed pain of this government.”
The chief minister also said that he became CM to do good for the people of Karnataka. He further added that it was his dream to fulfil the party’s commitment and not to grab power. Kumaraswamy also pointed out that the people of the state did not show confidence in him as his party had won only 37 seats.

He also announced an additional farm loan waiver of Rs 10,700 crore on Friday. Janta Dal (Secular) and the Congress forged a post-election alliance to form the government in Karnataka. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which emerged as the single largest party with over 100 seats failed to prove majority in the assembly.
