Bengaluru, August 20: Running the government single-handedly for the last 23 days, Karnakata Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa is all set to expand his state cabinet on Tuesday. Yediyurappa has also submitted the names of 17 MLAs to Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala.
Though Yediyurappa suggested 17 names, reports are pouring out that around 13 ministers will take oath today against the approved strength of 34. The rest 17 berth would be filled later. Among the key names that were taken by the Karnataka Chief Minister include Govind Makthappa Karajol, Dr Ashwath Narayan C N, Laxman Sangappa Savadi, R Ashoka, B Sreeramulu, S Suresh Kumar, V Somanna, Kota Shrinivas Poojari and H Ganesh.

It is to be known that Yediyurappa is currently facing criticism from the opposition for the delay in Cabinet expansion. Yeddyurappa took the oath alone on July 25, after BJP proved their majority in the Vidhan Soudha in Bengaluru.
