Earlier, Congress and Janata Dal-Secular attacked the latest formed BJP government for delay in Cabinet expansion. Congress on Saturday tweeted, "Is this what the BJP means by 'minimum government'? A cabinet without cabinet ministers? Will @BSYBJP wake up and stop our state from being mocked across the country? Karnataka needs a government. If @BSYBJP can't form one, he should step down."
According to initial details, though there would be a Cabinet expansion, speculations are ripe that all positions are expected to be filled on Tuesday. It is expected that some posts may be given to rebel Congress-JDS MLAs as a reward for supporting BJP.
